Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer obsessed Executive Assistant who will provide full administrative support to the VP of Security Services (S2)
The successful candidate must be able to communicate well and take swift, effective action whilst proactively solving complex problems with little or no guidance. The position requires the ability to work successfully within a team environment, build effective working relationships, maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization and become the “go-to” person for support activities.
Key job responsibilities
· Proactively manage executive's complex calendar with attention to accuracy, detail, and allocation of time to promote productivity and recognize the need to reprioritize as appropriate.
· Create detailed travel itineraries and coordinate with in-house travel agents to ensure smooth transitions between time zones; manage international travel processes including passport, visas, and any other applicable documentation.
· Organize and manage meetings (may include setting agendas and driving follow-up of action items), off-sites, and team-based social events, with associated budgets and logistics.
· Process expense reports and invoices as needed.
· Act as liaison between the Senior Leaders, their directs, and associated teams.
· Work in partnership with org leaders, functional business partners (e.g., Finance, HR) and other EAs to provide seamless support to the Senior Leaders and their teams.
· Understand the business priorities and identify process improvements to create efficiency and scale for the Senior Leaders and their leadership teams.
· Tracking and driving completion of key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding items.
· Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting various documents and correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the Senior Leaders’ ability to effectively lead their teams.
· Support annual operational planning process, business planning and performance review cycles.

AWS Security Services (S2) is redefining how enterprises are protecting their cloud-based applications, services, and data. We are innovating in security with services like Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie, Amazon Detective, Amazon Security Lake, and AWS Security Hub. S2 builds and operates security services that today, are targeted primarily at security professionals, most commonly within central security teams. Our services identify and provide guidance into threats and vulnerabilities, which in combination represent security risks for customers. We identify these risks across an organization and provide the details and actionable guidance to help customers mitigate issues before they become business impacting events.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of senior level leadership support experience
Experience with executive level calendar management
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
Experience working with large global teams
Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience
Experience leading process improvements
Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
