Essential Responsibilities

Care Leadership

Oversee counseling, guidance, and support to owners and staff. Connect Care needs to appropriate teams within the church. Oversee Care mentoring and training to church staff. Oversee the planning and execution of celebrations of life and weddings. Collaborate with the Finance Department to obtain approval for Benevolence requests from owners and staff. Create and manage departmental budgets. Support and establish vision for the Lakeside Chaplain Ministry. Lead and develop Dream Team to support the execution of the Care ministry.

Biblical Coaching Leadership

Oversee Lakeside’s Biblical Coaching Ministry, supporting the emotional and spiritual well-being of our owners and staff, and recruit and develop Biblical Coaches. Connect individuals with appropriate coaches based on their spiritual, personal, or professional needs. Monitor and assess participant progress, ensuring coaching relationships align with biblical principles. Act as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive coaching situations. Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Biblical coaching program. Develop policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the program operates efficiently and ethically. Evaluate and improve coaching methods to ensure they are Biblically sound and relevant to the needs of participants.

Missions Leadership

Guide the Missions Director to further Lakeside’s support of local, national and global Kingdom work. Cultivate partnerships with local organizations to serve the community through outreach events, service projects, and strategic initiatives. Develop global mission strategies, short-term mission trips, and ongoing support for international missionaries and ministries. Provide vision and oversight for educating and mobilizing the church body toward missions engagement.

Experience And Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Missions or Outreach leadership within a church or nonprofit Minimum proficient level of experience in MS Office Tangible passion forthe vision of Lakeside Church. Ability to recruit, lead and equip leaders to lead successful teams. Ability to handle multiple projects effectively. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from various backgrounds. Proficient with Planning Center On-Line (PCO) preferred. Proven leadership experience serving with volunteers. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Regular attendance to Sunday experiences Attendance to All-Staff events including but not limited to 21 Days of Prayer Serve Day First Wednesday Worship Experiences 7 Nights of Revival All Easter and Christmas Experiences Obedience to Biblical tithing principles
