AI Machine Learning Engineer II

to join our IT team. This position will be

full-time, remote,

and is a salaried position. What You'll Do Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms that enhance performance and scalability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design tailored ML solutions

Engage in hands-on coding and debugging to deliver efficient AI-driven products

Implement best practices for machine learning development, including model validation and testing

Integrate data pipelines and machine learning models into existing systems utilizing familiarity and experience with enterprise data architecture

Optimize machine learning components for maximum performance across cloud environments

Maintain technical documentation and code repositories, ensuring organized project assets

Stay updated with emerging machine learning technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment

Evaluate and select third-party components, frameworks, or accelerators to support ML system delivery

What You'll Need Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; Master's preferred

5+ years experience in developing machine learning applications and solutions

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar

Experience with Databricks or Snowflake for data integration and pipeline management

Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and data engineering

Proven track record in leading ML projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make strategic technical decisions

Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Familiarity with cloud platforms and ML services

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements

Preferred: Experience with GenAI models and ML infrastructure optimization

Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques

Understanding of advanced statistical methods and their application in AI

Experience in deploying ML models in production environments

Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
