Now Hiring: Part-Time Class B CDL Driver
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a Part-Time Class B CDL Driver! You will be responsible for delivering and picking up containers from various customer locations. Your main focus will be ensuring safe and efficient delivery while providing excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites.
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document all findings.
Be flexible with add-on deliveries to meet the needs of the business.
Utilize company-issued handheld devices for navigation and delivery confirmation.
Operate forklifts or overhead cranes as required.
Clean and prepare containers to ensure they are ready for delivery.
Handle rental paperwork and payment coordination directly with customers.
Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues, and prepare necessary notes.
Perform repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage facility.
Provide support for storage center operations as needed.
Maintain a clean truck cab, ensuring it remains free of debris.
Be open to performing other tasks as assigned.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports directly to the Management team, typically to the Market Manager or Territory Manager.
This position does not have direct reports or management responsibilities for other employees.
Pay Range:
$25.00 per hour General Benefits: To qualify for this role, candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with at least 3 months of driving experience. A current and valid CDL A or B for the state of employment is also required, along with being at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
