Senior Software Engineer - Backend

We're looking for a Senior Backend C# Engineer to join our client's growing team and take the lead on designing, building, and scaling their backend services. In this role, youll be at the heart of their platform designing modern RESTful APIs, implementing clean and maintainable C# code, and collaborating with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver seamless user experiences. This position is a hybrid role, following a Tuesday-Thursday onsite schedule, and is located in near Marietta/Kennesaw. Please see below for details and apply if you're interested! Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs in C#/.NET Core Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define API contracts and deliver end-to-end features Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards Build and maintain microservices that integrate with databases, external services, and internal systems Optimize application performance and reliability across backend systems Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines Qualifications: 3+ years of backend development experience with a focus on C# and .NET (Core or later) Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, and versioning Familiarity with API authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, JWT, etc.) Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB) Solid understanding of software architecture, microservices, and system integration Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile development methodologies Seniority level
