Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a Project Engineer at Perini Management Services, you will have the opportunity to:
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with architects and engineers throughout all phases of construction, including pre- construction/design
phases. Assist in developing project budgets, timelines, and procurement plans. Review and manage design documents for constructability and distribution to client & subcontractors. Construction Management: Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule, including monthly updates, and progress tracking. Process change orders and manage scope changes between the client, subcontractors, and designers. Assist in securing vendors and subcontractors. Monitor costs and assist with budget management. Identify and mitigate project risks. Coordinate with the owner and security officers for base access and ensure proper clearance. Construction Oversight: Support and oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with plans and specifications. Assist in monitoring worksite safety and ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist in the coordination of subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services. Documentation & Reporting: Documenting and Coordinating meetings, tracking actions, and decisions. Manage submittals and RFIs. Support QC inspections and ensure project quality standards are maintained. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a similar degree from an accredited institution. 3 + years of project engineering experience Experience with Federal Projects . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy. Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Procore Willing to travel and relocate. Initial project location will be in the San Fransico area.
