Director of Communications

About the Role Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Communications will be responsible for crafting and executing a company-wide communications strategy that elevates Storage Posts brand, drives engagement, and ensures consistency across all platforms. This role will collaborate closely with our marketing, HR, training, and leadership teams to unify messaging and amplify our presence. Youll be the architect of how our story is toldthrough executive messaging, internal communications, digital content, press strategy, and more. You will: Corporate Communications (Internal & External): Lead and execute an integrated corporate communications strategy aligned with business goals. Manage internal communications to foster transparency, alignment, and culture. Create and oversee executive communications (speeches, memos, talking points). Produce engaging content, including video, for training, HR, and operations. Support crisis communication and reputation management efforts when needed. Marketing & Public Relations: Partner with marketing to support and amplify campaigns. Oversee content development for websites, brochures, newsletters, and more. Manage media outreach, press releases, and relationships with external agencies. HR & Culture: Collaborate with HR to promote internal culture and employee engagement. Support recruitment marketing and employer branding. Create content that celebrates and shares internal stories and milestones. Lead company-wide social media strategy and content planning. Monitor trends and engagement to strengthen our thought leadership. Tailor content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms. You have: 8+ years of professional experience in corporate communications, PR, or brand strategy. Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong storytelling instinct. Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
