Position: Software Engineer – Android | Test Automation | Manual QA | Postman in DC or NY Must Have Technical/Functional Skills 6–8 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering. Hands-on experience with manual test development and execution. Automation scripting in Python and Ruby. System-level triage and debugging skills. Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices. Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced Agile environment. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Responsibilities include: Developing and executing manual test cases for Android applications and system features. Performing system-level triage to identify root causes and collaborating with developers for resolution. Using ADB for device management, log collection, and debugging. Validating resource overlays using Android RRO. Developing and maintaining automation scripts in Python and Ruby for regression testing. Testing and automating API requests with Postman. Documenting and tracking defects in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution. Contributing to test planning and reporting within Agile cycles. Ensuring quality standards through reviews and cross-team collaboration. Additional Skills:
Working with multiple stakeholders and participating in architecture reviews. Education:
Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience. Seniority level
