The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will lead and coordinate the financial planning and forecasting processes for Tiffany & Co. consolidated worldwide gross margin and inventory. This role involves comprehensive analysis and forecasting of gross margin components (direct and indirect costs, commercial, industrial and corporate) and holistic consolidation of inventory flows. The Director will partner with cross-functional teams such as industrial, accounting, merchandising, supply chain, to support strategic financial objectives. The Director will be responsible for fostering an environment of continuous financial analysis and will provide recommendations to leadership. Key Accountabilities: Financial Analysis and Reporting Produce monthly gross margin presentation to HQ and internally to Senior Leadership including deep dive into main components of gross margin performance with key insights Analyze performance by product line (variance analysis for FX / mix / price / COGS impacts) Analyze indirect costs including industrial activity (efficiency and absorption of costs in the industrial facilities across diamond and jewelry manufacturing), distribution and logistics, repair centers, product development Analyze worldwide roll forward of inventories (raw materials, finished goods, purchases, production) in collaboration with industrial and supply chain teams, and monitor working capital Partner with Accounting for periodic product obsolescence review Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across: Industrial, Category Analysis Product development, Markets, Accounting, Distribution Alert leadership on potential risks or opportunities in gross margin components Produce gross margin analysis for Business Reviews with the Division and HQ Drive and oversee forecasting processes for worldwide consolidated gross margin (direct and indirect) during yearly forecast cycles and strategic long-term plan Collaborate with Product team to build sales product mix and margin targets Partner with Category Analysis and Industrial teams to project assumptions relative to product costs: metal and other relevant costs Plan and analyze worldwide roll forward of inventories, including production, receipts and impact on working capital for raw, work in progress and finished goods Process Improvement Leverage and promote new company-wide implemented technology solutions to optimize data analysis Drive greater efficiency across Global FP&A processes in fast-paced environment Required Qualifications: 10+ years of finance experience, heavily focused on business partnership in financial planning and analysis Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work with senior management Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines Agile and innovative mindset Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hyperion Planning Experience with business intelligence tools such as SAP Business Objects and PowerBI The hiring range for this position ranges from $165,495 - $233,640. The rate of pay offered will be dependent uponcandidates’ relevant skills and experience.
