The Vice President of Sustainability & Social Impact operates within the Signet Board-level Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Committee’s charter. This role involves overseeing a core team, external consultants, and collaborating across functions such as facilities, procurement, and operations globally. The candidate must influence all levels of the company, from the Board to frontline staff, and manage government and trade relations. Reporting to the Chief Communications & ESG Officer, responsibilities include: Developing strategies to reduce environmental impacts and oversee ESG data collection, reporting, and disclosure against frameworks like SASB, CDP, TCFD, and GRI. Leading stakeholder relations and communications, working closely with leadership. Initiating environmental programs, integrating sustainability into functional areas, and communicating these initiatives externally. Driving sustainable design, responsible sourcing, and ESG disclosures, including SEC mandates. Additional responsibilities involve representing the company's positions externally, managing budgets, collaborating with the Signet Love Inspires Foundation, developing policies, overseeing grant programs, and reporting to the Foundation Board and company leadership. The role also includes participating in meetings and committees related to the Foundation's initiatives. Requirements 10-15+ years of experience in external affairs and corporate communications, including experience with a global consumer, retail, or related agency. Proven success in strategic external affairs planning and understanding of industry issues. Global professional experience demonstrating modern communications approaches and results-driven organization. Experience managing proactive communications strategies, with integrity and transparency. Experience in company transitions and stakeholder engagement. Strong leadership, executive presence, and ability to motivate across functions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences. Travel up to 50%, including international destinations. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
