Oversee and review complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals Manage client engagements with a focus on strategic planning, compliance, and advisory services Serve as the primary contact for clients, building trust through timely communication and technical insight Lead and mentor a team of staff and senior accountants, providing guidance and technical review Conduct and present tax research on complex federal and multi-state matters Ensure all deliverables meet regulatory requirements and firm quality standards Identify planning opportunities and contribute to business development efforts within the tax practice Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA license preferred Minimum of 5 years in public accounting with significant tax experience Strong technical knowledge in areas such as pass-through entities, corporate tax, and individual compliance Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead engagement teams Proficiency in tax software and Excel; experience with CCH Axcess or similar platforms a plus Confident, solution-oriented professional able to work independently within a structured environment MUST HAVE EXPERIANCE IN A CPA FIRM Seniority level
