Cary, NC Overview Corporate Banking is a technology-centric Business, with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data. Our Corporate Bank Technology team is tasked with building innovative Business solutions and also ensuring technology and security risk for payments remains within risk tolerance bank wide. In partnership with teams based in London and India, you will be responsible for operating and refining a sustainable 'First Line of Defense' controls assurance strategy within the Bank's Technology organization. This will include evaluating the effectiveness of a wide spectrum of controls across the Bank's payment applications and you will work closely with our technology teams to implement improvements. What You'll Do Under guidance of the assigned Assurance Manager, you will execute Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) controls testing across the Bank's payment applications to validate effectiveness of the Payments IT and IS control landscape

Contribute to the ongoing development of control testing standards including sampling and documentation

Identify and promote sustainable testing automation opportunities

Partner with stakeholders including Technology Application Teams, Control Owners, Divisional Control Office and Group Audit to support transparency over IT and IS risks and champion sustainable risk mitigation outcomes

As a controls subject matter expert, support the Bank's Technology teams in understanding how to implement required controls across a diverse technology landscape

Support Embedded Technology Risk teams in identification and remediation of control deficiencies within the Payments landscape

Skills You'll Need Specific experience in IT and IS controls testing and risk management

Deep understanding of IT and IS risks

Able to demonstrate a structured logical approach to problem solving

Proactive and strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivation and tenacity

Skills That Will Help You Excel Knowledge of cloud control implementation such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Experience of working in an agile environment

Instinct to ask questions and challenge the status quo

Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on a few factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
