Job Summary: Sunward Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional for the position of Director of Compensation & Benefits. The Director will support the design, implementation, and management of the organization's total rewards programs, working closely with the Chief People Officer to align initiatives with Sunward’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and leading a comprehensive total rewards strategy.
Designing and managing compensation structures and incentive plans.
Managing employee benefits programs and wellness initiatives.
Leading and developing the HR team.
Analyzing data and preparing reports for leadership.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Leading change management projects and cross-functional collaboration.
Influencing organizational strategies and fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
Minimum of eight years’ experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards, with at least three years in a leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Prolonged sitting, frequent travel, and ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Salary: $120K to $160K
