U.S. Immigration Fund, a global finance and real estate development company, is seeking a
Head of Corporate & Government Affairs
to lead the organization’s strategic engagement with U.S. and international government entities, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders to support the company’s EB-5 immigration investment initiatives. This role is critical in shaping public policy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the company’s reputation within the EB-5 ecosystem. Thisposition will be based in
Washington, D.C.
with travel to the company's headquarters in Florida. Key Responsibilities Government & Regulatory Affairs: Serve as the primary liaison with USCIS and other relevant federal and state agencies. Monitor and interpret EB-5 policy developments, including the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act. Advocate for favorable policy outcomes and represent the company in industry coalitions and public hearings. Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on policy and regulatory matters. Corporate Affairs Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate affairs strategy aligned with business goals and enhances the company’s public profile. Build and maintain relationships with lawmakers, regulators, economic development agencies, and regional centers. Represent the company at EB-5 industry events, conferences, and investor forums. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to EB-5 program requirements, including job creation metrics, investment thresholds, and reporting obligations. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage audits, investigations, and disclosures. Communications & Reputation Management: Lead crisis communication planning related to regulatory or reputational risks. Oversee public affairs messaging and media relations related to immigration and investment policy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, or related field (JD or Master’s preferred) 10+ years of experience in government affairs, immigration law, or public policy, with at least 3 years in the EB-5 or investment immigration space Deep understanding of the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program and related U.S. immigration laws Strong network within government, legal, and EB-5 industry circles Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes Proven track record of influencing policy and building stakeholder coalitions Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills Competitiveexecutive compensation packagewith performance-based incentives.
