Veterinary Recruitment Consultant for WA, CO, AZ, OR, UT, NV, ID, AK, WY, MT, and HI
Introduction A community-focused, independently owned animal hospital in Kapolei, Hawaii is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its close-knit team. Known for its loyal clientele and personalized approach, this practice provides high-quality care for cats and dogs, with the option to expand services to additional species depending on a doctor’s interests. The hospital is currently open Monday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Wednesdays and Sundays closed. Appointments typically range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the case. Opening hours can be adjusted to accommodate the preferred schedule of a new veterinarian. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care while working closely with clients to support the health and well-being of their pets. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, interpreting lab and imaging results, and educating pet owners. The practice also offers Platelet Rich Plasma and Stem Cell therapy, with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship. A candidate with USDA accreditation would be ideal, though not required, as the clinic provides a number of international health certificates. The hospital features three exam rooms, a fully equipped surgery suite, an advanced dental unit, and a complete diagnostic suite. Equipment includes digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, Idexx in-house laboratory systems, and EasyVet paperless records. The practice is known for its welcoming environment and its role as a trusted local veterinary provider. Team The current team includes one veterinarian supported by nine dedicated support staff. The culture is small and close-knit, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, client relationships, and community-focused care. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship and support.
