Business Analyst , you will lead the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs, from prioritization and concept development to feature writing, supporting development and deployment. You will provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts, translating business process needs into technical requirements. Additionally, you will support change management and training, and contribute to organizational and strategic planning across various technical and functional environments. Your expertise may include Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Analysis. Responsibilities include: Envision, develop, and create requirements to improve tools, streamline processes, and enhance key metrics. Identify and mitigate risks. Support planning and delivery of Agile IT development projects as a Scrum Master with excellent communication skills. Facilitate meetings and workshops, creating shared understanding with stakeholders, and engaging team members to produce product and portfolio roadmaps. Decompose large epics into features and user stories for understanding and approval by the development team. Facilitate Increment and planning sessions to ensure work is well defined and understood. Assist teams in using JIRA for Agile lifecycle management to track work across multiple product teams. Coach teams on delivery processes, the Agile mindset, and client values. Define project scope and schedule, manage risks, report progress, and perform delivery planning. Oversee high-priority projects for the client. Document Acceptance Criteria in stories understandable to both development teams and stakeholders. Communicate technical concepts clearly and present findings effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience as a business analyst for the federal government. Experience with Agile methodologies. Strong critical thinking and communication skills. Ability to help write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design solutions. Excellent oral and written communication skills. SAFe certification preferred. Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence. About Steampunk:
