JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a CDL Class B Truck Driver, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery and pick-up of containers. This position offers a chance to build excellent relationships with customers while executing deliveries incident-free.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely drive and operate a commercial truck with a specialized lift mechanism to load and unload containers at various sites, adhering to all safety protocols.
Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and lift, logging observations accurately.
Able to accept additional deliveries as business needs dictate.
Utilize company-provided handheld devices for navigation and delivery verification.
Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed.
Inspect and clean containers to ensure they are ready and presentable for customers.
Manage rental paperwork and process payments with customers efficiently.
Communicate effectively with your Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues, documenting notes as necessary.
Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage facility.
Be prepared to assist with storage center operations as required.
Keep the truck cab clean and free from debris, ensuring a professional appearance.
Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position typically reports to management, with direct supervisors being the Market Manager or Territory Manager.

directly responsible for managing other employees, including hiring, firing, or pay decisions. Pay Range: $29.00 per hour GENERAL BENEFITS:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required, without air brake restriction. Must maintain a current and valid driver license. Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement). Possession of a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1-year certification (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Basic math skills necessary for performing required duties. Ability to attend a 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
