Pay: $23.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious CDL Class A Driver for part-time work. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and pickup of containers to customer locations. Your commitment to incident-free operations and excellent customer service will drive our success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to manage container loading and unloading at customer sites. Conduct and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift. Adapt to add-on deliveries to meet business demands. Utilize company-provided handheld devices for delivery verification and navigation. Operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes as necessary. Maintain cleanliness of containers to ensure they are presentable upon delivery. Assist customers with rental paperwork and payment coordination. Communicate any customer inquiries or issues to the Driver Lead or Market Manager, and prepare driver notes when needed. Perform field repairs on containers and lifts, as well as at the storage center as required. Provide backup support for storage center operations when necessary. Keep the truck cab clean and organized, free from debris inside and out. Complete other duties as assigned. Management & Supervisory Responsibilities: This position reports to management and may include job titles like Market Manager or Territory Manager. This role does not involve directly managing other employees, such as hiring, termination, or pay decisions. Job Qualifications: Education & Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Valid CDL Class A License without air brake restrictions. Maintain a current and valid driver license. Meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Must be at least 21 years old due to insurance requirements. Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum of a 1-year certification (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Strong math skills necessary for required duties. Ability to participate in a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program. General Benefits:
