Responsibilities
Coordinate trade contractors and ensure high-quality work meeting schedule
Manage project budget and develop work plans for field changes
Understand contract documents to anticipate issues
Obtain permits and enforce safety compliance
Develop safety strategies and foster safety culture
Lead contractor meetings, maintain reports, and manage project schedule
Coordinate logistics and develop quality plans
Train and manage direct reports and foster a positive work environment
Engage with the community and support business development
Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
10-15 years of experience on healthcare or K-12 projects, or equivalent
OSHA 30-hour, STS-C, First Aid, CPR certifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
Problem-solving and adaptability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software
Knowledge of construction phases, safety, and team supervision
Salary is competitive and based on experience. For Connecticut, ranges are from $146,100 to $178,600 plus benefits. Gilbane offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, retirement, and education investments. All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
