LOCATION: Seaport, Boston, MA (hybrid 3 days in office)

JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, Field Operations & Incentive Compensation will support the success of field applications and enable the broader AVEO team by providing actionable insights to optimize processes and inform strategies and decision-making. This role will handle sales operations activities, including Incentive Compensation (IC) administration and reporting, managing workflows in Veeva CRM and related platforms, call plans, alignments, and target feedback. The individual will support various commercial and medical field teams as AVEO aims to become a Top 20 oncology company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS):
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Sciences, or a related field
Experience:
- 5+ years in analytical or operations roles within high-growth environments (sales operations, field operations, business analyst, business intelligence analyst, IC analyst, or similar). Prior experience or interest in life sciences, medical devices, or healthcare is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Field Support, CRM, Analysis, & Planning:
Support targeting and account segmentation by analyzing customer data and market dynamics, activating segments throughout AVEO and vendor partners, ensuring data flow and synchronization.
Administer and configure call plans and target feedback for the sales team, collect and process feedback, and deploy plans accordingly.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of data, insights, and activities across commercial applications.
Manage AVEO field rosters via Veeva Align platform.
Administer monthly fleet reimbursements and conduct routine analysis.
Maintain territory alignments and mapping.
Create and maintain CRM reports and dashboards.
Conduct CRM training sessions and develop training materials.
Incentive Compensation Management:
Administer quarterly IC plans using AVEO’s platform, configuring plan elements for automated calculations.
Enhance and develop performance analytics for leadership, including sales trends, IC trends, and plan health analyses; resolve IC inquiries promptly.
Maintain and update sales goal models for quarterly approval and distribution.
Monitor IC performance, conduct health analyses, and prepare related presentations and documentation.
Develop training content and provide user training.
Desired Attributes & Technical Skills:
Experience with Salesforce or Veeva CRM as an admin or user is required. Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools is a plus.
Strong technical skills in managing commercial applications and analytics aligned with business goals.
Advanced MS Excel skills; SQL knowledge is beneficial. Experience working with industry datasets and extracting insights is preferred.
Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills across functions such as analytics, sales, marketing, and medical affairs.
Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, focused on efficiency and accuracy.
Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments, managing multiple projects effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
