Corporate Transactional Attorney
Location:
Montgomery County, Maryland (VA and DC Bar a plus) Salary Range:
$135,000–$200,000 (Exempt position) Our law firm client is seeking a Corporate Transactional Attorney with 2–5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, entity formation, and contract negotiation. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as NDAs, purchase agreements, and service contracts Advise internal stakeholders or clients on corporate governance, compliance, and transactional matters Support M&A and other strategic business transactions Conduct due diligence and collaborate with external advisors and internal departments Monitor legal developments related to corporate transactions Assist in the formation and structuring of entities, joint ventures, and partnerships Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in Maryland, or eligible to sit for the Maryland Bar; Virginia and DC Bar strongly preferred 2–5 years of corporate transactional experience within a law firm or in-house legal department Strong knowledge of corporate law, M&A, and contract drafting and negotiation Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines Client-focused with a collaborative working style What’s Offered Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) Opportunities for professional development and advancement A supportive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment Hybrid work flexibility Seniority level
