is working on behalf of our fantastic client in Fairfield County who has a Tax Manager staffing need. This role is full time and on a hybrid schedule. Oversee complex tax activities and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality income tax services Key Responsibilities : Prepare and review complex tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual) and planning Conduct tax research and provide guidance to clients Manage client workflow, projects, and engagements Interact with IRS and state tax agencies Develop and mentor staff, oversee work delegation, and evaluate performance Ensure compliance with IRS guidelines and accounting principles Travel approximately 15-25%, primarily within the Tri-State area Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field Minimum 7 years of tax and management experience or 2 years as a Supervisor with above-average performance CPA certification or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting programs Salary range: $140K-$165K DOE Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit https://www.specialcounsel.com/candidate-privacy If you would like to be considered, or learn more about this opportunity, please submit your resume today to doris.meinelt@lhh.com!
