Maintenance Supervisor

Supervise electrical, mechanical, and general construction, repair, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance and operation of physical structures, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment. Inspect work quality, assign staff, and oversee outside contractors based on performance standards. Maintain, monitor, and test emergency and security systems like Fire Alarms and CCTV. Recommend solutions for issues, improvements, or prevention measures. Train maintenance staff on procedures, safety, and assist in repairs. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for major equipment and systems. Implement and uphold facility safety standards. Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Leadership ability, hands-on approach, and problem-solving mentality. Attention to detail, data-driven, and capable of influencing departments to meet standards. Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, and construction/building systems. Ability to analyze utility consumption trends and forecast energy needs. Ability to support change management initiatives. Capacity to work in confined spaces and awkward positions. Calmness in emergencies and effective communication with personnel. Ability to translate technical info into layman's terms. Knowledge of environmental legislation and quality standards. Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Education & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience. Experience with industrial and commercial systems, refrigeration, HVAC, and general maintenance engineering. Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Systems. Engineering diploma preferred. Diversity & Inclusion:
