to learn how our innovative team is helping connect, protect, and power our planet. Summary: Qorvo is seeking a skilled design engineer with expertise in RF/mmW multi-chip front-end module (FEM) design and strong electromagnetic (EM) simulation experience. The ideal candidate will join Qorvo’s Advanced Development (AD) team, working closely with product development teams to accelerate the adoption of innovative circuit and technology solutions. As a Module Design Engineer in the AD group, you’ll engage with cutting-edge technologies developed by the Technology Platforms Group, contributing to Qorvo’s industry-leading 5G NR FR1/FR2 and emerging 6G products. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with product development teams to identify engineering-level goals and challenges, enabling the rapid integration of Qorvo’s latest AD circuits and technologies into their product roadmaps. Drive the FEM integration and meet the target performance at the top module level while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule while working with multi-discipline teams developing PA, RF switches, LNA, and acoustic filters. Build complex HFSS EM models of multi-functional RF/mmW front-end modules to prevent unwanted coupling and minimize the module shielding effects within the module. Conduct FMS (full module simulations) across all functional states to identify compliance issues and provide solutions to improve margin to specifications. Drive the module design review and tapeout. Contribute to design schematics, simulations, and real lab data. Qualifications: BSEE + 5 years’ experience, or MSEE + 3 years. Strong understanding of RF/microwave fundamentals such as lumped component impedance matching, transmission line matching with open/short stabs, stepped impedance matching, passive RLC and resonant circuits, linearity, circuit stability, and Electromagnetic theory. Experience in RF/mmW FEM product development. A minimum of 5 years of experience using HFSS or equivalent EM simulation software. Proficient in circuit simulation tools such as ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, and Dynamic Link. Familiarity with RF measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers, is preferred. Self-starter and team player with good communication skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information. Enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment. #LI-SM1 MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVO We are Qorvo.
