Job Description We are currently hiring an Operations Manager responsible for staffing, scheduling, and processing payroll for Security Professionals at assigned client sites within the division or branch. The role involves maintaining communication with Security Professionals, resolving issues related to pay, morale, or complaints, managing overtime through effective scheduling, and making timely hiring decisions. The position includes a comprehensive, week-long onboarding course to support success in this role. Responsibilities: Interview and hire qualified applicants, evaluate low-performing employees for replacement or transfer. Make initial/conditional job offers and transfers, maintaining and publishing weekly Open Post List, managing job openings. Create and manage post schedules in Winteam, ensure adequate coverage, and update schedules regularly. Ensure staffing according to contract requirements, manage overtime, and maintain a pool of backup staff. Receive weekly timesheets, update schedules, run bi-weekly payroll, and resolve discrepancies promptly. Follow all policies regarding timekeeping, conduct audits, and process final paychecks and related pay issues. Conduct disciplinary and counseling sessions, document issues, and ensure follow-up. Initiate termination procedures and complete all documentation. Maintain contact with staff to ensure effective utilization, training, and readiness; review 'No Hours Report' weekly. Maintain high employee morale, ensure consistent procedures, and enforce policies through training. Maintain organized work areas, meet deadlines, prepare reports, and address operational issues. Perform additional tasks as directed by management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of professional experience managing non-exempt employees in a fast-paced organization. Ability to obtain a Guard License if required, pass background checks, and drug tests. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation may be required. Strong report writing, communication, and de-escalation skills. Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office, and timekeeping/payroll software like Winteam. Customer service orientation, professionalism, and ability to handle multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Additional Qualifications: Security industry or military experience. College coursework or degree. Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service.
