Maintain some of the most complex automated trading systems in the world of quantitative hedge funds. You are going the be the SRE hire into the firm and will be able to drive strategic change across various the platform and you’ll own various production issues. It’s unlikely that any two days in a row will be the same. This platform is used by all members of the firm, so maximum impact will be on show for you. Your ideas will be listened to and your technical skills will be crucial in the improvement and efficiency of the platform. It’s built and supported by engineers who are often considered to be some of the best in the world. Don’t take our word for it, but these engineers have previously worked in FAANG and the best hedge funds across the world. You’re going to need to have strong Python experience. You’re also going to need to have strong observability skills, they use Grafana. Additionally you will need to know your way around a Linux system and have good troubleshooting skills. Finally, if you have worked with Kubernetes & configuration management, it would be ideal. Starting salary will be in the range of $150,000-$300,000 plus bonuses that often time can be over 100%.
