Senior Backend Engineer

COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is fintech company that offers infrastructure and trading capabilities that enable global financial institutions to access U.S. markets. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Join a fast-moving team as a senior backend engineer focused on high-throughput, distributed systems Strengthen and scale their core order management engine for performance and reliability Optimize transactions per second (TPS) and system efficiency Design and implement new features across trading infrastructure Expand platform capabilities to support additional asset classes Contribute to the development of core trading strategies around retail order flow Collaborate directly with the founding team on high-impact technical decisions Play a key role in shaping the technical direction and leadership of the engineering team JOB REQUIREMENTS Proven experience building high-throughput, real-time distributed systems with 99.9%+ uptime Proficiency in Golang preferred; Rust, Python, or C++ also considered Strong background in asynchronous processing, pub-sub architectures, websockets, and batch systems Expertise in database scalability and systems-level performance optimization Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code in AWS (e.g., Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines) Product-oriented problem solver with a focus on delivering practical, user-driven solutions Background or interest in financial systems such as trading, brokerage, or crypto exchanges Working Location: Singapore (remote work) / relocation to USA Syahirah Binte Ahmad Ja'afar (R22105331) JAC Recruitment Pte.
