Pay Range: $35-$45 Based on license and experience Requirements: Current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN or RN in CO Minimum of one year's experience as an LPN or RN with a good understanding of in-services Infection Prevention Certificate preferred, or be willing to get it What to expect: Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members Maintain a positive and calm disposition in all interactions Develop and monitor goals and objectives for in-service trainings Interview, hire, and orient new nurses Create and maintain records and reports related to in-service requirements Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing to meet staffing and PPD goals Review and create daily staffing schedules Attend meetings and serve on committees as required Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure staff participation in annual OSHA and CDC in-service training programs Provide direct patient care when not performing DSD duties Represent the department in top-level meetings Implement recommendations from the Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee Follow infection control policies and procedures Report any occupational exposures to hazardous materials immediately Protect resident data confidentiality per HIPAA standards
