Base pay range

We’re seeking a senior engineering leader to drive innovation, technical excellence, and business growth within a Power Delivery Engineering Practice. This is a high-impact role suited for seasoned professional with a strong background in executing distribution, transmission, and substation design projects for utilities. We are looking for someone who can lead both people and ideas. Responsibilities Technical & Innovation Leadership Champion new technologies and best practices to keep our teams at the cutting edge of the power industry. Provide strategic technical guidance across power engineering disciplines. Mentor engineers and support professional development across the team. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement design standards and improve project delivery. Identify talent gaps and support strategic hiring efforts to strengthen technical depth. Operational Leadership Partner with market leaders to assess team capabilities and drive continuous improvement. Support QA/QC efforts and ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery. Guide internal training efforts and knowledge-sharing practices. Provide regulatory and compliance updates relevant to the power sector. Contribute to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team culture. Strategic Growth & Client Engagement Work with leadership to develop and execute plans for technical and business growth. Serve as a technical advisor in client meetings, proposals, and strategic pursuits. Represent the firm in industry associations, conferences, and publications to advance thought leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required 15+ years of experience in the power industry Proven technical expertise in power distribution, transmission, and substation design Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills Ability to travel as needed to support business objectives Seniority level
