We are looking for a

Staff Controls Engineer

to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to

Principal Engineer, Controls

and based in

San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role .

Develop and implement machine learning models to monitor and evaluate fuel cell system performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy machine learning solutions to drive system control changes for optimum performance and reliability Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights Participating in control code development, automation and firmware release

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, embedded systems, control systems, or a related field Bachelor’s 6+ years, or master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, embedded systems, control systems Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB or other programming languages Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib Experience in developing model predictive control, porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing code Experience with version control software, Github/Gitlab preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills

Salary Ranges:

$130,400.00 - $187,600.00
