Job description
Automation Developer
Dexian, LLC seeks 3 Automation Developers in McLean, VA to:
Design, develop, and create end-to-end automated tests in Core Java using Java, JE22, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, AngularJS, Linux or Unix, and Selenium or similar tools to validate system functionality. Develop automated component tests to validate individual component behavior. Provide automation expertise to the project team and troubleshoot automation issues. Conduct automation source code management using BitBucket. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipeline. Manage automation activities and provide status to stakeholders. Interact with users, business analysts, and application development teams to understand business/technical requirements and system design. Develop functional and technical expertise for the system supported. Research automation capabilities for REST APIs, S3, and cloud applications. Conduct web development. Contribute to overall automation framework design and enhancements.
Qualifications: Master's degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field. 1 year of experience in a software development occupation, including: Development experience in Core Java, JE22, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, and AngularJS. Experience in Test Driven Development and test automation for DevOps and cloud applications. Experience in web development such as HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, or Bitbucket. Development/testing experience for mainframe and distributed systems in the financial industry. Experience with Agile Scrum methodology. Experience with at least one RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase. Experience with automated testing or software development within the financial industry. Experience with Selenium or similar tools for web browser automation. Experience with Linux or Unix.
