Job Description
Summary:
The Program Assistant supports the Skills Institutes in the School of International Service. These weekend courses are aimed at providing graduate students in international affairs with in-demand skills. Responsibilities
The incumbent supports Skills Institute faculty during, and prior to, instruction of the course. The incumbent supports students in Skills Institutes by troubleshooting technological issues and other access challenges. Complementing the AU-wide SETs, the incumbent surveys students and analyzes the data that these surveys produce.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work
Part-Time. 10 hours per week. This position requires regular weekend work (Saturday and Sunday).
Salary Range
$17.95 - $18.50 per hour.
Required Education And Experience
Previous experience in working with events, professional communications, and/or research and evaluation.
Preferred Education And Experience
Bachelors degree in international affairs or education. Experience working in higher education. Demonstrated interest in experiential education.
