Job Description
The Attorney of Leasing provides counsel and handles daily issues regarding the company's leases, including the interpretation and enforcement of lease provisions. Responsibilities include negotiating the company’s position with opposing counsel and landlords' representatives for new leases, ancillary lease documentation, letter agreements, lease amendments, subleases, assignments, and other related contracts. The attorney advocates the company’s positions on essential lease, operating, and corporate issues in leases, subordination/non-disturbance agreements, estoppels, license agreements, amendments, and other related contracts. Key duties also involve drafting, preparing, reviewing, and analyzing leasing and other legal documents. Required experience:
