About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Compliance and AI Governance to lead its Responsible AI Program. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that AI initiatives are developed and deployed with the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and in compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic program management of AI governance, including the establishment of KPIs, preparation of comprehensive reports, and continuous evaluation of AI governance frameworks. They will also oversee the operations of the Responsible AI program, manage the AI Review Board, and lead a dedicated team of compliance professionals and data scientists. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and familiarity with the healthcare regulatory environment, and the ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, data science, engineering, ethics, law, or a related field. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in AI, data science, technology governance, compliance, or a related area. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in governance or compliance, particularly within the AI or tech industry, and at least 5 years of direct leadership experience. The candidate must be well-versed in AI ethics frameworks, regulatory environments, and risk management associated with AI, with a solid understanding of AI/ML technologies and data science methodologies. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation are essential. The role also requires a leader with executive presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to foster a culture of responsible AI within the organization.
