Responsibilities
The Biomedical Systems Analyst I works in the Corporate Biomedical Services Department, which is responsible for the maintenance and management of medical equipment and systems throughout FirstHealth of the Carolinas and to contracted customers. Work activities performed by the Biomedical Systems Analyst I include but are not limited to: support of biomedical device integration with HIS, FHC medical device security initiatives, projects related to medical equipment and systems, and serving as a subject-matter expert to other staff in support of computer and systems related issues as needed with emphasis on patient safety, customer service, regulatory compliance and cost containment. Qualifications
Education and Formal Training: Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Computer Engineering or related field preferred. Equivalent military training or significant industry work experience accepted. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience servicing healthcare technology in the role of BMET or similar position, preferably in a hospital setting. Experience with project management, IT systems support, and medical device integration preferred. Certification: CBET ACI Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician certification is not required for this position. Other industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Net+, or Security+ are encouraged. #J-18808-Ljbffr
