Project Engineer

What You'll Do
You’ll be embedded on-site, playing a hands-on, technical role in delivering high-performance concrete scopes across commercial and institutional projects. From submittals and scheduling to field inspections and closeout, you’ll be integral in making sure our self-perform concrete work meets spec, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate concrete-specific scopes in partnership with Superintendents, PMs, and self-perform crews Manage submittals, concrete mix designs, lift drawings, and pre-pour checklists with technical precision Perform field inspections for rebar placement, formwork, embeds, and pour sequencing Support and track concrete-related RFIs, submittals, QC verifications, and pre/post-pour documentation Work with PMs on bid packages, subcontractor buyouts, and concrete vendor contracts Track labor, materials, and equipment related to concrete operations for cost control and reporting Update and maintain schedule milestones related to foundations, slabs, vertical elements, and deck pours Assist in preparing meeting minutes, progress reports, punch lists, and warranty documentation Engage with clients, design teams, and trade partners to ensure constructability and quality alignment Take ownership of documentation management and compliance for your scope What You Bring
1–2+ years of experience
in commercial construction with emphasis on
concrete subcontractor work or concrete-focused scopes
(e.g., slabs, podiums, vertical formwork) Bachelor’s degree in
Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Field coordination experience with a self-perform or structural subcontractor is a major plus Strong proficiency in
Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications Familiarity with structural steel embeds, CIP wall construction, post-tension systems, and mix design evaluation OSHA 10
required,
