Vice President, Software Engineering
Location: New York, NY Job Duties:
Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the Firm’s software solutions supporting its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable technology solutions using internal and open-source services. Manage requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration, regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment. Collaborate with internal teams to develop solution designs. Identify external technologies to innovate and transform financial businesses and internal platforms. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory standards. Design, implement, and maintain robust testing suites for safe, complete, and scalable solutions. Provide training and guidance to junior team members. Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with two (2) years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with five (5) years of relevant experience. Experience must include at least two (2) years (with a Master’s) or five (5) years (with a Bachelor’s) in: C++ or Java programming Full software development lifecycle Building multi-threaded, multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within Unix environments Technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Kafka Relational database management systems like Oracle or Sybase Microservices architecture including REST, Spring, or similar Database query languages including SQL or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) Salary Range:
$180,000 - $216,000 annually. Benefits:
