Job Description Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Position: Clinical Performance and Safety Specialist Trainer

Job Summary
The Performance and Safety Specialist (PASS) team member plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, well-trained workforce by delivering essential training programs and supporting staff development. Responsibilities include conducting New Hire Orientation, teaching CPR/First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training. The PASS team member monitors staff competencies and collaborates with the Training Department and leadership to assess and improve safety practices and training needs. They also help develop and evaluate unit-specific training plans to promote best practices and enhance staff performance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
2-5 years of experience in healthcare required.
1-3 years in a training or educational role preferred.
Minimum six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
EMT certification (valid in Arizona) preferred but not required.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in Arizona) preferred but not required.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI policies.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License and a clean 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
