About the role The Senior Manager, Managerial Skills & Programs / Global Functions Learning Partner is a dual-role leadership position responsible for setting the global strategy for management and high potential leadership development across all levels of the organization. This role owns the design and evolution of enterprise-wide programs for new managers, experienced managers, and high-potential leaders, and partners with senior leaders from corporate functions to align learning to functional and enterprise needs. In addition to overseeing formal development programs, this role also drives ongoing skill development through scalable, self-directed, and embedded learning experiences. The role includes management responsibility for the Program Coordination & Logistics Manager and serves as a key member of the broader L&D leadership team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the global strategy for management and high potential leadership development programs, including new manager upskilling, experienced manager capability building, and high-potential leader acceleration.
Partner with business and HR leaders to identify the key competencies and mindsets that define successful people leadership in the organization.
Lead the end-to-end design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of management learning journeys that blend formal programs with informal, digital, and experiential elements.
Facilitate high-impact learning experiences across in-person and virtual formats, using proven adult learning principles to engage participants, drive behavior change, and reinforce application of skill in the workplace.
Serve as the primary learning partner for global corporate functions (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, IT), consulting on learning needs and building relevant development solutions.
Collaborate closely with content vendors, internal SMEs, and instructional design teams to curate and develop fit-for-purpose content.
Ensure alignment of managerial development initiatives with performance management, succession planning, and culture objectives.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of program delivery, including logistics, communication, scheduling, and vendor management through direct supervision of the Program Coordination & Logistics Manager.
Use data to monitor participation, effectiveness, and impact of learning efforts; report regularly to senior stakeholders and continuously optimize offerings.
Actively contribute to the L&D governance process and support enterprise learning initiatives and priorities.
Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or leadership development in a complex, global organization.
Demonstrated success in designing and leading scalable manager and leadership development initiatives.
Strong consulting, facilitation, and program strategy experience across leadership levels.
Proven ability to work effectively with global stakeholders and navigate matrixed environments.
Excellent project management skills and experience overseeing program operations and logistics.
Strong understanding of enterprise functions and their talent needs.
People management experience, with the ability to coach, support, and develop team members.
Experience leveraging digital learning platforms and content libraries to scale impact.
For positions based in New Jersey, the base salary range is $109,000 - 152,600. For positions based in New York City, the base salary range is $113,700 - $159,200. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
