Description
Responsible for driving the financial forecast and close processes in close collaboration with all global Operations Finance teams and Corporate FP&A, covering both monthly and long-range planning while maintaining a deep understanding of operational drivers to proactively surface potential issues. The position performs global lease accounting, ensuring the accurate recording, classification, and reporting of lease-related financial information. It also requires partnering with cross-functional teams to implement financial best practices, optimize financial processes and systems, and provide world-class Finance support for various Operations teams. The role facilities the development and maintenance of FP&A related systems and oversees headcount tracking and related reporting for the Engineering and Operations Finance organization. Additionally, the position supports FP&A and other assigned projects. Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or related filed. CPA/MBA a plus but not required. 5+ years experience in financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis with increasing responsibilities Strong knowledge of GAAP, including lease accounting Preferred Qualifications
Creative and curious self starter Solid analytical & financial modeling background Champion of continuous improvement and innovation, knowledge of Dataiku and experience with Snowflake is strongly preferred Must have strong track record of delivering high quality work under tight deadlines Capable of grasping essentials in unstructured complex situations Fierce attention to detail with accuracy Outstanding communication and presentation skills to various levels of the organization Strong ability to develop and foster relationships across many functions to accomplish goals High level of proficiency with Excel and Keynote and Tableau Experience with database programs, SAP BPC, Business Objects, SQL are a plus At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
