Wor-Wic Community College
Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a part-time testing center aide to proctor computerized and paper tests in person and remotely, including Accuplacer, Test of Essential Academic Skill (TEAS), Pearson Vue GED/Comp TIA and others. This position works a variable schedule including evenings and Saturdays as needed up to 25 hours per week.
Essential Duties Duties include checking in test candidates, verifying identification and explaining the exam process; distributing and monitoring testing; administering diagnostic testing; maintaining the security of the testing area and materials; recording and filing test data; opening and/or closing the testing center and handling inquiries regarding scheduling information and types of tests available.
Minimum Requirements Requirements include an associate degree and one year of relevant work experience (an additional two years of relevant work experience can be substituted for the degree); must have a current (or have the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Accuplacer Certificate of Test Administration, ATI Testing Certificate of Test of Essential Academic Skill (TEAS) and Pearson Vue Test Administrator Certification; excellent computer, organizational, human relations and written and oral communication skills; and the ability to work independently.
Supplemental Information This position is temporary and does not include benefits. The starting hourly rate will likely range from $20.82 to $25.51 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, with extremely well qualified individuals toward the upper end of this range.
