The Role:
The Engineering Administrator position is essential for the successful execution of engineering projects, as it involves coordinating various administrative and technical tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team. The Engineering Administrator will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely and accurate communication to deliver customer orders on time. The Engineering Administrator organizes and maintains records as well as supports production, scheduling, quality and engineering as required.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00

The Role:
The Engineering Administrator position is essential for the successful execution of engineering projects, as it involves coordinating various administrative and technical tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team. The Engineering Administrator will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely and accurate communication to deliver customer orders on time. The Engineering Administrator organizes and maintains records as well as supports production, scheduling, quality and engineering as required.
Your Responsibilities :
- Supports engineering with GP data entry. (BOM's, Item Cards, Routings, Tooling and Inspection Reports)
- Assist in the training of new team members in GP and EPDM.
- Create new part numbers for customer service and input into GP for order entry.
- Reviews and updates travelers as needed for unapproved re-orders to ensure accuracy.
- Manages and maintains the Engineering Helpdesk. Assigns ECNs to DE's.
- Assists Engineering with creating and processing ECN requests in GP and EPDM
- Completes ECN's (minor drawing changes/decimal ECN)
- Maintains Engineering schedule and coordinates with Eng. Mgr. to establishing priorities.
- Assist engineering group in processing ECO's and drawing clean up.
- Supports Production with projects for mass changes to routings and inspection reports updates.
- Assist the planners, as needed, with providing PDF files for production orders.
- Posts weekly metrics as established by management.
- Effectively communicates with scheduling, purchasing, engineering, management, quality and production.
- Creates purchase requests for office supplies and management.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned, to ensure the effective utilization of the company's resources and to ensure customer satisfaction
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to learn AutoCAD / SolidWorks as needed
- Basic office / administrative experience preferred
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure document accuracy and completeness
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn and understand technical terminology and systems
- Strong organization skills, including detail orientation with strong follow-up and follow-through skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project)
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00
