- Develop, test, and maintain software for real-time embedded systems using C++ (up to C++14) and Python.
- Utilize Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar.
- Apply object-oriented design principles and software modeling using tools like IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo .
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define system requirements and design specifications.
- Provide technical input during the software development lifecycle, including design reviews and code inspections.
- Document software designs and processes following industry best practices.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in C++ and Python for real-time embedded systems.
- Experience working with RTOS environments (e.g., Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks).
- Strong object-oriented design and implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo.
- Familiarity with the RUST programming language .
- Excellent oral and written communication skills .
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field .
- Experience with NSA Type 1 certification or other software certifications (e.g., DO-178 ).
- Lack of a relevant degree as outlined above.
- Insufficient hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems.
