The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a

Mission Systems Integration Manager

to join Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in

Daytona Beach, Florida.

The candidate will enable the Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing fighter aircraft technology by leading an Integration, Analysis and System Test Engineering team. The team is responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test. Simulation and modeling is utilized to assist in requirements development, software development and offsets some Flight Test verification.

Position Responsibilities:

Ensure that the team delivers safe and high-quality program products within cost and schedule

Coordination with program management, suppliers, customers and other Boeing teams

Provide technical, programmatic and process leadership to team members

Monitor team and supplier performance to ensure proper system integration and compliance with requirements

Support production with issue resolution for delivered hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

Perform managerial HR functions

Lead, develop, and motivate employees

The work performed for this position will primarily be performed onsite and may involve a small amount of travel.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering or technical field.

7+ years of technical engineering experience

2+ years of experience in the Mission Systems field on military aircraft

3+ years of experience leading or managing teams and/or projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

With the above Bachelor degree, also have an MBA or equivalent degree

Strong collaboration and coordination skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience delivering presentations

Experience with Earned Value Management

Working knowledge of Scale Agile Framework (SAFe)

Active Top-Secret Security Clearance

Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering

Familiarity with tool such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab and Jama Connect

Typical Summary pay range:

$128,350- $173,650
