Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Facilities Planning, Construction, and Management section (FPCM), the AGPA functions as an administrative project manager responsible for the completion of routine, and/or sensitive assignments entailing the planning, budget tracking, and oversight of hospital projects and provides assistance where requested. The incumbent will also provide the same level of support for the Capital Outlay, Deferred Maintenance/Special Repairs, Energy Efficiency, and Sustainability programs managed by FPCM.

The position requires the ability to write professional document report-outs and create narrative reports based on studies and data. As such, a brief writing exercise shall be conducted ahead of each interview.

Working Conditions This position reports to the Allenby Building in Sacramento. A hybrid Telework schedule, consistent with the State of California's in-office requirement, may be considered with prior approval from management. The incumbent may also be required to travel throughout California as needed, with prior notice.

The State's Commute Programs provide bicycle, mass transit and vanpool incentives to eligible state employees. The State's mass transit incentive pays 100% of the transit pass up to the IRS maximum of $325 per month in 2025.

Up to 10% travel may be required.

DSH-Sacramento is located at a new 11 floor high rise building.
