Scheduler

based in California, with the flexibility to travel to client meetings in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical path method scheduling using Primavera P6 and developing cost-loaded resource schedules for transit infrastructure projects, including rails, roadways, tunnels, water, and utility civil infrastructure. Experience with water and wastewater projects is a plus. Candidates must hold a current Project Management Institute - Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification. Daily Duties Develop and update baseline schedules, review, and analyze CPM schedules for each project. Create and maintain separate project schedules. Prepare and distribute executive reports on schedule status, budget, and potential changes; ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures for data collection, input, and reporting. Implement project coding structures and establish appropriate cost accounts for capital programs and projects. Collaborate with agency staff to maintain project cost accounts and provide training as needed. Manage project schedules and budgets using Primavera-based systems. Support cost control procedures, including change management and forecasting. Review cost estimates to support cost control efforts. Generate monthly cost reports and perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of scheduling experience in transit and/or water/wastewater infrastructure projects in California. PMI-SP certification is mandatory. Proficiency in Primavera P6 Version 8.3 or higher, with Primavera certification. Experience conducting forensic schedule analyses for complex civil projects, especially regarding delay claims. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Experience scheduling large-scale design and construction projects, including progress reporting methodologies. Knowledge of delivery methods such as Design-Build, CM/GC, and P3 is desirable. Ability to interpret technical construction programs and communicate progress effectively. Willingness to assume additional responsibilities. Strong communication skills. Reliable and accurate in job execution. Required Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
