Description About the Role Zenith is looking for a versatile and agile
Project Manager
to oversee a significant construction project, retrofitting an existing power station. The project is approximately valued up to $25 million . The successful candidate will report to the
Chief Technical Officer
and will play a crucial role in delivering the project on time, within budget, and aligning with Zenith Energy’s zero-incident goal. Responsibilities will include Schedule procurement and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Plan site activities and oversee the delivery and installation of infrastructure. Manage subcontract work packages across all aspects of construction, including civil, electrical, and mechanical works. Oversee project expenditures and provide estimates for completion costs. Report on the project's commercial status and actual progress to stakeholders. Manage a multi-skilled FIFO team. Ensure site compliance with project health, safety, and environmental (HSE) key performance indicators and regulatory and Australian standards. Develop and manage project risk assessments, safety plans, and environmental management plans. About You As the
Project Manager,
you will bring the following qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills to the role. Formal Qualifications in Project Management Relevant Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade Qualifications Experience within the Power Generation industryand knowledge of Jenbacher gas engines is desirable. Strong understanding of current Australian and International standards Highly developed people management skills that can motivate and lead to the best outcomes. Well-developed communication skills, enabling effective negotiation and interaction at all levels. Excellent attention to detail. Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analysis and problem solve.
