We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Product Manager, Collateral & Funding Markets to join our Global Collateral team. This role is located in New York, NY.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
10+ years of experience in capital markets product management, trading, operations, or strategy with a focus on collateralized financing markets such as repo, securities lending, or secured funding.
Demonstrated expertise in global funding markets, including the U.S. government securities markets, including deep familiarity with U.S. Treasuries, agency MBS, and agency debt instruments.
Proven track record of designing, launching, and managing financial products, with specific experience in triparty repo structures and workflows.
Strong understanding of triparty platforms, margining practices, collateral optimization, and the role of clearing banks and custodians
Deep working knowledge of funding market dynamics, including interdealer and dealer-to-client flows, central bank operations (e.g., Fed SRF and RRP), and the impact of regulatory capital and liquidity rules (e.g., SLR, LCR, NSFR).
Familiarity with the settlement infrastructure supporting U.S. government securities, including Fedwire, DTCC/NSCC, and FICC GCF/DVP and Triparty based services.
Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and operations to structure innovative financing products while ensuring regulatory adherence.
Strong quantitative skills and comfort with overseeing analysis tied to market data, haircuts, and funding spreads to inform product decisions.
Ability to interface credibly with institutional clients, dealers, and internal stakeholders including trading, technology, risk, and operations teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex market concepts into actionable product strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Experience working at or with primary dealers, asset managers, or clearing banks.
Knowledge of collateral transaction types, optimization tools, or collateral management platforms.
Direct exposure to regulatory and industry groups such as SIFMA, ISDA, TMPG, or other.
Strong project management background and familiarity with Agile product development or technology delivery environments

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
