CNC Setup Machinist – 2nd OR 3rd Shift

CNC Setup Machinists
to join our team on 2nd OR 3rd shift at a leading precision manufacturing company in Sparta, WI. If you have CNC experience, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for producing high-quality components in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. This full-time role plays a vital part in maintaining and setting up CNC machines to meet exact specifications for advanced production. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, precision, and productivity on every shift. Key Responsibilities: Set up CNC machines and prepare necessary tooling and fixtures
Maintain and repair equipment within the machine shop
Diagnose and troubleshoot machining or equipment issues
Collaborate with other departments to improve setups, processes, and part programs
Work closely with engineering and prototyping to support development of new components
Follow quality standards and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
Keep accurate documentation and communicate clearly across shifts
Operate a variety of tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
What We’re Looking For: 1+ year of CNC machine setup, repair, or hands-on maintenance experience
Solid understanding of machine shop practices, tools, and safety procedures
Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment
Compensation & Schedule: Pay:
$24.00 – $33.00/hour based on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday (2nd shift) or Sunday–Thursday (3rd shift)
