Golden West Telecommunications is the largest rural communications provider in the State of South Dakota and one of the leading communications cooperatives in the United States. With a service area of more than 24,000 square miles, Golden West delivers high-speed broadband, communications services and technology solutions to a geographically diverse and expansive portion of the State. Golden West is seeking a COO with the management experience, vision, and leadership skills to become an integral part of our leadership team. The COO will have comprehensive operational responsibilities and will report directly to the organization’s Chief Executive Officer.

Our Requirements: An accomplished operational executive with a Master’s degree and at least five years of direct communications industry experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and seven years of direct industry experience. A demonstrated ability to successfully develop, implement and supervise day-to-day operational functions. A forward-thinking leader focused on developing and sustaining operational support teams that will further enhance the recognized culture and brand that has been built at Golden West. An ability to build and sustain customer, community and vendor relationships for the organization. An individual that is experienced in taking the lead on new growth and M&A opportunities.
